CND Stickey...what took me so long?

CND Stickey has made me a believer. I really don't know what took me so long to try this base coat, but I got a bottle last week and I think it just may be my favorite basecoat EVER. My beloved Essie Lilacism manicure stayed on for 4 days chip free, with minimal tip wear. The only reason I didnt wear it longer is because on Saturday I did my cousins nails for school and in the process messed my own nails up. Other than that, I was really going to see how long it would last. The next time I get a polish that I absolutely LOVE like Lilacism, I'm going to do a wear test with a CND Stickey sandwich!

On the other hand, I also picked up Speedy...which is allegedly a fast drying topcoat. I had a dent in my nails after 10 mins. Yeah, that's unacceptable to me. My favorite topcoat Seche Vite=1, Speedy=0. I dont even know why I try other topcoats. I guess I just want confirmation that Seche is my favorite topcoat compared to anything else I try. I gave Speedy away. I cant with you Speedy.

Poshe Cuticle Care Review

This is only one of two products I've ever tried from Poshe, the first being their Super Fast Drying Topcoat, which is fabulous. The one thing I would have to say that I like about it versus Seche Vite is that it stays shiny longer. I mean, even after 2 or 3 days, my manicures still look shiny. Whats the bottom line?

Well I haven't been using this stuff daily, just when I feel my cuticles are extra dry from constant hand washing and acetone. When I use it, my cuticles and the surrounding skin around my nails does feels instantly softer. I like the smell; its a light fruity smell, not too overpowering. Also I love the applicator tip, its great for precision application. Its skinny enough to trace a line of product right around my cuticles. I usually use CND's Solar Oil for my cuticles, but the advantage of Pose Cuticle Care is that it is a cream and I can take it with me and rub it in. There's no messy oil cleanup and I don't have to watch what I touch with my hands like after I use Solar Oil. Overall, this product is a winner for me.

CND Solar Manicure

Look what I found at Trade Secret:

What it says on the bottle:
CND Solar Manicure is a one step exfoliating treatment with the properties of Solar Oil . Sea salts provide mild exfoliation while super penetrating formula conditions nails and skin.

Directions:
Apply a small amount to hands and gently massage. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry. Finish by massing to help the natural oils penetrate into the skin.

Here's what it looked like it on my hand:

Let me just say that I love Solar Oil and this felt like a heavenly, thicker, moisturizing version for my whole hand. And the fragrance! It smells good, I don't know how to describe it, but it smells better than Solar Oil. My hands felt really, soft and moisturized. I mean with all those oils in there, sunflower, sweet almond, jojoba, etc, it has to feel great. I was afraid it was going to be too oily to wash off with just water or that it would feel great as long as it was on but as soon as it washed away I wouldn't feel the benefits. Both of my assumptions were wrong. It washed off just fine and my hands were still soft when I patted them dry.

Pros:
Exfoliating beads feel really great when you massage this in
Super moisturizing
Pleasant fragrance

Cons:
Those beads feel great but they will fly everywhere! Keep a paper towel or towel near to keep the mess to a minimum.
A bit pricey, it regularly retails for 15.95 at Trade Secret but I got it on clearance for 60% off

Verdict? Its a nice product to have in my collection for when I want to do something extra special for my manicures. I use acetone and that is harsh on my hands, this definitely could restore the moisturize I lose. I imagine it would feel even better if someone else was massaging my hands! A girl can dream...

CND Solar Oil + Nail Stickers

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of posting but the condition of my nails has been bad. My cuticles and the skin around my nails are dry. What to do about it? I googled Creative Nail Designs Solar Oil and it got rave reviews from nail blogger Scrangie and her nails look fabulous! So I headed to Albertsons (of all places!) because I thought I had saw some CND Solar Oil there before and it was there! For a whopping $3.44! I snatched that up and was looking around and found these Broadway Fashion Diva nail art stickers for $1.64. The package says there are over 80 stickers and they are for tips and toes. They are pretty cute, lots of hearts and butterflies. I cant wait to try them out on a fresh pedicure because this great weather we're having is making me bring out the sandals.
