What youre looking at is a zebra manicure...gone wrong. I got inspired watching some YouTube videos and decided to go for a black, hot pink and white manicure. What I got? I dont know...but eh, I actually like it. I mentioned in the previous post that I'm just getting into nail art, so maybe the blog can track my progress. Who knows? I could be a great nail artist in a couple of months, practice makes perfect?
My pointer finger is really bad, I had to get used to using this thin nail art brush. Some lines are thicker than others, but when I look at my hand all together instead of focusing one the mistakes...I can dig it.

Hi! Just came across your blog. Love your manicure. Looks pretty on you. I think you did a great job. I haven't even tried any nail art. Guess I'm trying to get my nerve up. The good thing is that it comes off with remover!

This is adorable! My daughter just pledged to do a zebra manicure this week. I love these colors together. My nail art skills are LACKING so I need to try & up my skills as well. You're a lot better than I am, that's for sure!

ReplyDeletewe must be nail twins or something because (1) I've done this mani (it looks AWESOME with a navy blue base) (2) I have each of those nail polishes! For my stripes I used one of those nail strippers from the BSS store. Made things much easier.

Jaded: Navy blue? Hmm, sounds intersting! We must be nail twins, we have the same polishes! Great minds think alike. Ha! :-) I've been meaning to get nail stripers, theres so much I want to do...
